Was Obama too honest about his marijuana use while addressing high school students?

This is the new "faux" controversy that the media has created surrounding democratic prsidential candidate Sen. Barack Obama. Mr. Obama started off a debated in New Hampshire by admitting to a group of high school students in the audience that he had in fact experimented with drugs while he was in high school.

"There were times when I got into drinking, experimenting with drugs. There was a stretch of time where I did not really apply myself," Obama said.

Mitt Romney is one of the Republican presidential nominees who took exception to Obama's honesty.

"I think in order to leave the best possible example for our kids, we're probably wisest not to talk about our own indiscretions in great detail," Romney said.

Now me personally I think he did the right thing by being honest with the high school kids. I think we underestimate children when we lie to them. I mean come on people let's be honest we are talking about high school students who have access to the internet. These kids these days know enough to teach you and me a few lessons about some things. Things have really changed and just to think it wasn't all that long ago since I was in high school.
