Although there are no delegates being awarded, Hillary Clinton is projected to win the Florida primary. This may prove to be a momentum shift for Clinton although none of the candidates on the Democratic side campaigned in the Sunshine State. Hillary won by taking in over 50% of the white vote and also getting the majority of the Hispanic vote. Barack Obama came in second. He received over 70% of the African American votes. This may prove to be a bad indicator for Obama come Super Tuesday, but hopefully he can make some inroads with Hispanics and Whites.
On the Republican Side:
John McCain and Mitt Romney are in a tight race for first place in the Sunshine State.
