Black Star Power was in full effect when some of the best and brightest in entertainment came out to help Tyler Perry celebrate the grand opening of his new studio in Atlanta. The guests at this sophisticated soiree including Oprah, Ruby Dee, Sydney Poitier, Stedman Graham, Gayle King, Will Smith, LA Reid, Tracey Edmonds, Boris and Nicole Ari Kodjoe, Kirk Franklin, Tasha Smith, Eva Pigford, Star Jones, Patti Labelle, Gladys Knight, and a host of other people.
I think Tyler was also trying to squash rumors about him proposing to Taraji P. Henson because she was not in attendance and his date was rumored girlfriend 24 year old model Gelila Bekele of Ethopia.
